A Chinese export silver bowl circa 1890, with later blue glass liner. The bowl is pierced with wonderfully detailed chrysanthemum decoration, has a vacant round cartouche, and sits on a plain collet foot. The bowl was retailed by Chong Woo, '祥和' in Hong Kong. Chong woo was a retailer based in Hong Kong from around 1890s. The silversmith's mark is '紹記' (Shao Ji).
