Chinese Export Silver Table Box circa 1890 of long rectangular form, embossed and chased with prunus branches and blossom against a matte background. The box is marked with WH, for Wang Hing. As the largest firm in China supplying silver to Westerners, the firm of Wang Hing worked with many silversmiths, and this bowl was made by Liang Sheng (良生).
