CChinese Export Silver bowl, circa 1895, with applied decoration of two peacocks on each side of the globular body, and four butterflies flying among peonies and plum blossoms. The bowl has a broad wavy edge with a moulded rim and applied prunus flower decoration.
Marked with WH, for the retailer Wang Hing, and with the maker's mark of Tai Chang Long (泰昌隆).
