A Magnificent suite of 3 Chinese silver jardinières, circa 1895. Each dish has prunus decoration below a pierced and engraved gallery of bamboo, and there are impressive dragons supporting each corner. Marked with WH for Wang Hing '宏兴‘ which was the biggest retailer in China from the 1860s to the 1940s, and the most well known and influential, with shops in Canton, Shanghai, and then Hong Kong. The firm worked with over a hundred silversmiths, and these jardinières were made by 宝生 (BaoSheng). The largest of the three dishes measures 31cm x 18cm x 15.7cm and their total weight is 2915gm.
