Chinese Export Silver Basket, circa 1895, of shaped oval form. The dish has eight alternating panels of engraved and pierced bamboo, and flying dragons among auspicious clouds. The base features a skirt of pierced bamboo, and the handle is designed as a double bamboo knot.
Made by Wen Wei Ji (文煒記), (the workshop of Wen Wei), and retailed by Wang Hing.
