Chinese Silver Bowl with wonderfully detailed applied chrysanthemum decoration.
Marked with '文萃源‘ (WenCuiYuan), which is a rare maker's mark, and retailer's mark of 'Luen Wo' (联和) .
Luen Wo had the largest retail silver business in Shanghai (上海), which was the most prosperous city in the Far East in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century, and was active between 1870 through to the 1920"s.
