An extremely fine Japanese Silver Bowl from the Meiji period, of traditional double-skin, or double-wall, construction, profusely decorated with detailed irises around the outside, and with a smooth, plain interior. The base has the "jungin" mark which was used in Japan to indicate "fine silver" of at least sterling silver standard.
